Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship/Wyoming

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Available to Wyoming residents who show outstanding academic ability. Must attend an accredited postsecondary institution, have a minimum 3.8 GPA, and be a high school senior. Renewable award of $1500. Applications are mailed to all high school counselors in the spring. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 11. Minimum award amount: $1500. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 12 scholarship(s), totalling $18,000. Douvas Memorial Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Available to Wyoming residents who are first-generation Americans. Must be between 18-22 years old. Must be used at any Wyoming public institution of higher education for study in freshman year. Qualif.: Applicant must be: 18-22 years old. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
